Axios HR is hiring a results-oriented Business Development Rep to join our sales team for HR Services.  The Business Development Rep will join marketing, sales and account managers with the main goal of growing predictable revenue for the HR Services team at an aggressive pace.

Interest in learning our holistic service offering and the ability to generate opportunity by effectively communicating our value proposition are both critical to success.  The Business Development Rep is responsible converting relationships, marketing leads and referral sources into highly qualified prospects.


We’re looking for a foundational member of our fast-growing revenue team. Axios HR solves the #1 challenge for every business leader: talent attraction, retention and development. It is a tight talent market, and Human Resource, Staffing and Insurance solutions like Axios HR offers are in high demand. We are looking for the right person to help drive a full revenue pipeline.


Meeting or exceeding goals for new qualified sales meetings

Completing defined sales development activities

Relationship development with referral sources

Building a pipeline of warm prospects

Predictable revenue pipeline


Able to connect with local business owners and decision makers to create opportunities

Attracts new business through active networking and translating the impact of economic shifts and emerging technologies on the marketplace

Able to create a meaningful network of referral sources to produce qualified opportunities

Works rapidly and efficiently in bursts of energy; doesn’t slow pace until resources are exhausted

Actively probes for matters most important to the customer and proactively positions how solution will alleviate concerns

Invests extra time to achieve goals; sets structured action plans and associates tasks completion with demonstrating value


Business acumen

Experience selling services through a relationship-based approach

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with common sales management software (i.e. Salesforce/Pardot)

Proficiency in standard office software like MS Word, PPT, Excel, etc.

Focused attention to detail and good organizational skills

High-level problem solving and critical thinking skills

Courteous and professional demeanor

Curiosity that leads to identifying buying triggers and asking questions

High sense of urgency to exceed quick response time needed

Engage prospects and nurture and guide them through the buying process
